Discussion: Navigating the Current Political Landscape
Join us in another civic-directed conversation at the Corry Higher Education Council to have a non-partisan, objective discussion highlighting Executive Orders and the current political climate most impacting the nation. Dr. Jeffrey Bloodworth of Gannon University will be objectively answering questions on the meaning and implications of recent political actions. Ask questions and gain insight into the changing political landscape in a judgement-free, non-partisan space that relies on civics and facts to explain current executive orders and current political topics as they happen.

Have you been putting off creating your will? Don’t procrastinate any longer. Attorney Ruth from Carney & Ruth Law Offices will offer insights into the process of making wills, power of attorney, living wills, and living trusts. There will be a question-and-answer session after the presentation.

All About Owls
Meet some mysterious feathered hunters of the night! Learn whether the myths about owls are true. Staff will bring live owls to share, and you will learn about their fascinating adaptations for nighttime. A variety of teaching tools, including feathers, wings, talons, and recorded owl calls are used to support this unique learning experience.

Corry Generations: Independent Living in the Home You Love
Corry Generations helps local homeowners age 60 and older make practical home modifications that improve safety, comfort, and independence. Through a matching grant of up to $1,000, eligible homeowners can receive a 1:1 reimbursement for approved improvements, including grab bars, ramps, nonslip flooring, better lighting, and other mobility and accessibility adaptations.

Occupational Therapy and Functional Vision Rehabilitation
Learn about Occupational Therapy and Functional Vision Rehabilitation services for children in this information session with Occupational Therapist, Jessica Roach. During the session, participants learn about the services provided by Bridging Roots Therapy, indicators of visual challenges in children, how therapy can help, and much more. *Please note, occupational therapy will not be provided during the information session but will inform participants about available services.
