Let Tracy Blair with Corry’s “WIA Youth” program give you a hand.
The WIA Youth program is designed for low-income young adults
ages 18-21 who have faced at least one of the following barriers to employment: pregnant or custodial parent; prior placement with the
legal system or other legal barrier; foster child; homeless; runaway;
or a learning barrier. The WIA program can provide job shadowing opportunities, work experience, partial wage reimbursement to employers, short-term education assistance and tutoring assistance.
