“Keyboarding (Typing) Overview”

"Keyboarding" is a 6-hour program providing basic keyboarding and typing skills, utilizing the “Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing” instructional program. This course emphasizes basic typing technique and skills. There are no prerequisites.

Course Content:

• Correct placement of the hands on the keyboard;

• Typing posture;

• Placement of keys;

• Progressive typing of specific letters and words.

Students who complete all the scheduled hours of the class will receive a certificate of completion from the Corry Higher Education Council.
