Excel
Level I is a 9-hour program providing
basic skills in creating, using and enhancing spreadsheets, using Excel.
Prerequisites include a basic understanding of computer operations and mouse
manipulation as provided in "Intro to Computers”; and a working knowledge
of the computer operating system as provided in “Windows Level I”.
Successful completion of Excel Level I is required to take Excel Level II &
III or Access Level I.
Course Content:

Start Excel, open and save a workbook,
and navigate in Excel;

Enter labels and values, preview and print, using Help;

Plan and
design worksheets, edit cell entries, enter formulas, etc;

Understanding relative and absolute references;

Name and move a sheet, formulas, values, select fonts and
point sizes, change attributes and
alignment of labels, adjust column widths, insert and delete rows and columns;
