“Access Level III”

Microsoft Access is a 9-hour program providing extended skills in creating and utilizing databases. Prerequisites include a basic understanding of computer operations and mouse manipulation as provided in “Intro to Computers”; a working knowledge of the computer operating system as provided in “Windows Level I”; and a working knowledge of databases as provided in "Access Level I & II" and spreadsheets as provided in “Excel Level I & II.

Course Content:

  • Create a Macro

  • Using macros, run a macro, create keyboard short cuts and buttons for Macros;

  • Synchronize forms;

  • Power access techniques, explore Access SQL, write ASQL statement, a sign SQL statements to objects, create a cross tab query and use charts;

  • Access modules, explore the module window, use a debugged window, visual basic code, write user defined functions, use the if then else statements and your select case etc.

Students who complete all the scheduled hours of the class will receive a certificate of completion from the Corry Higher Education Council.
