Access is a 12-hour program providing
intermediate skills in creating and utilizing databases. Prerequisites include a basic
understanding of computer operations and mouse manipulation as provided in
"Intro to Computers”; a working knowledge of the computer operating
system
as provided in “Windows Level I”; and a working knowledge of databases as
provided in "Access Level I" and spreadsheets as provided in “Excel
Level I & II.
Course Content:

Advanced queries;

Power table use, Link and unlink a table, modify cable properties,
create look up tables and insert graphics in fields.

Customize forms, insert graphics, employee display controls, create group
controls, modify form properties, use the D look up function, use the "If
function" and make a sub form;

Report formatting, create multiple table reports, use graphics in
reports, create a report template, auto-format, and use summary controls.
